Im April 2020, auf dem Höhepunkt des ersten Corona-Lockdowns, besuchte der Offenbacher Fotograf Marc Krause den Frankfurter Flughafen, um mit seiner Analogkamera die seltsame Stille dieses »Nichtortes« einzufangen. Ohne die getaktete Geschäftigkeit des Regelbetriebs fiel sein Blick auf die Dinge, die der Rausch der Bewegung für gewöhnlich verschluckt: die Geometrie der konstruktivistischen Architektur, das Spiel aus Licht und Schatten, die Überbleibsel und Hinterlassenschaften der Reisenden, die sich normalerweise zu Tausenden durch die riesigen Hallen schieben.
