For a change, no photos from my own archive: For my farewell from teaching at the university in July 2021, the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) organized a festive programme with contributions from artists, colleagues, friends, students and graduates, among others by Tina Bara, Beatrice von Bismarck, Torsten Hattenkerl, Daniel Herrmann, Sophia Kesting, Bettina Lockemann, Thomas Locher, Elisabeth Neudörfl, Peter Piller, Heidi Specker.

The special contribution from Michael Mauracher consisted in taking portraits of the people in the hall during the event with a telephoto lens and to showing the photos immediately afterwards on a large screen as double-images. The resulting group of works is thus part of this special event in times of the pandemic and is presented here as an artist's publication.
