Los Angeles is not a city – it is the capital of dreams.
It feels infinite like the sea, an ocean of lights at night where every corner seems perfectly illuminated. A staged reality.
You are guided by the shining lights through a mystic haze, trying to navigate towards the emptiness.
The photo book L.A. Is Round The Corner is the result of a few extended bike rides during my travels to Los Angeles since 2012. These photos are reflecting my attempt to connect deeper to the city and its myth.
