Middle Plane is proud to announce the arrival of our fourth issue in collaboration with the estate of acclaimed artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
Partners in both life and art, Christo (1935-2020) andJeanne-Claude (1935-2009) are best remembered for their ingenious use of fabric to create works of varying scales, but perhaps best loved for wrapping or surrounding the unexpected. The Louvre, eleven islands east of Miami Beach, and a row of trees in Riehen, Switzerland, have allbeen subjects of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s monumental outdoor projects.
A collaboration with creatives in the world of art and fashion to interpret and conceive new ideas and projects inresponse to the artists’ extensive work.
